| Smoke is a very special dog- He's loving and extremely intelligent. Is is just about the sweetest ACD I've ever known. He's such a big "muscley" teddy bear. He loves to ham it up! He's a joker. If he was human he's be a comedian ;) He LOVES to play with his basket ball in the swimming pool! He's loves life! Smoke as a sire : - he "stamps" his puppies with his looks and brains.....they all tend to look just like him! Smoke is my "Uluru" son - Uluru's movement is legendary to us - We rarely see that ACD's can actually move effortlessly / with tireless reach and drive like Uluru....and Smoke... His conformation is truly excellent :Like I said before: Movement is flawless - he floats when he trots. Flawless coming and going gait as well. Beautiful balanced body, thick clear blue coat with a silver rough , tail spot & ring tail. Truly a magnificent specimen of the breed - who has much to offer to this breed in the future. Show results from oldest to newest: Nov. 27th 2005: Smoke wins 1st in Herding group at our annual all breed sanction match! Feb 2006: Smoke's 1st real show!: Smoke takes a group 2nd in herding!! Along with 3 Best puppy in groups! Competition included Multi Best in Show winning dogs. Thank you judges! Rebekka handled Smoke the 1st day, then Joyce (aka mom) took Smoke in and handled him herself the sat and Sunday shows when Rebekka was at Westminster to watch Rebel win BOB. Joyce made such a great team with him!! Smokes 2nd show: May 5,6,7th 2006 - He placed Best Puppy In Group all 3 days, 2 grp 3's and a grp 4. and a new CH. |
